Mirrors - Power: Testing: Notes

CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
NOTE: Power mirror system voltage is controlled by the Retained Accessory Power (RAP) system and ignition switch in RUN or ACC position. RAP system will supply voltage after engine is turned off and key is removed from ignition. Voltage is supplied for approximately 10 minutes after ignition is turned off or for 35 seconds after a door is opened and closed. Voltage is also supplied whenever a door is left opened. Ensure RAP system is operating properly.
NOTE: Before performing following tests, ensure circuit ground, circuit harness wiring and circuit fuse are okay. Also, ensure all circuit connections are clean and tight.
