Unlock Function Inoperative (Lock Function Operative) From

BOTH DOOR LOCK SWITCHES

  1. Use a test light and backprobe power door lock relay connector between terminal "F" (Black wire) and ground. Move door lock switch to unlock position.
  2. If test light does not glow, repair open circuit in power door lock relay Black wire. If test light glows, check for poor connection at power door lock relay connector terminal "F" (Black wire). If connection is okay, replace power door lock relay.


ONE DOOR LOCK SWITCH

  1. Use a test light and backprobe inoperative door lock switch connector between terminal "D" (Black wire) and ground. While observing test light, put door lock switch in unlock position.
  2. If test light does not glow, check for poor connection at inoperative door lock switch. If connection is okay, replace inoperative switch. If test light glows, repair open circuit in door lock switch Black wire.
