Remote Keyless Entry/Theft Deterrent System Inoperative

1)Disconnect Remote Control Door Lock Receiver/Theft Deterrent Module (RCDLR/TDM) connector. Connect test light between RCDLR/TDM connector terminal D1 (Orange wire) and ground. If test light does not light, repair open circuit in Orange wire.

2) If test light lights, connect test light between RCDLR/TDM connector terminals D1 (Orange wire) and D16 (Black/White wire). If test light does not light, repair open circuit in Black/White wire. If test light lights, check for poor connection at RCDLR/TDM connector. If connection is okay, program a known good transmitter. If system is still inoperative, replace RCDLR/TDM.
