Check the following items for possible causes of system malfunctions before performing individual tests:
- Ensure Trunk Lid Lock Securely Engages Striker
- Faulty Fuses Or Circuit Breaker
- Loose Or Corroded Connectors
- Low Battery Charge
- Poor Ground Connections
- Linkage Disconnected, Binding Or Bent
- Inoperative Lock Or Latch Mechanism
