Locks Do Not Operate From Either Switch

  1. Disconnect door lock relay connector. Connect a test light between chassis ground and Orange wire terminal of door lock relay connector. If test light does not glow, repair open Orange wire. If test light glows, connect test light between Orange wire and Black wire terminals of relay connector.
  2. If test light does not glow, repair open Black wire. If test light glows, connect test light between chassis ground and Orange wire terminal of connector at either door lock switch. If test light does not glow, repair open Orange wire.
  3. If test light glows, connect test light between Gray and Tan wire terminals of door lock relay connector. Hold switch in lock and unlock positions. If test light glows in each case, go to next step. If test light does not glow in each case, check for poor wiring connection at relay. If connection is okay, replace relay.
  4. If test light glows, connect test light between chassis ground and Tan wire terminal of any door lock motor connector. Hold switch in lock position. If test light glows, repair open Tan wire. If test light does not glow, repair open Gray wire.
