Rear Compartment Lid Release Available With Ignition Switch

IN RUN POSITION & TRANSMISSION OUT OF PARK

1. Disconnect Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) connector C1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect test light between connector C1 terminal "B" (Pink wire) and ground. If test light does not light, repair open or short to ground in Pink wire.
2. If test light lights, set parking brake. Shift transmission to Drive. Connect test light between RCDLR connector C1 terminal "C" (Light Green wire) and ground.
3. If test light lights, check for short to voltage at Light Green wire. If wire is okay, replace transmission position switch. If test light does not light, check for poor connection at RCDLR connector C1 terminal "C" (Light Green wire). If connection is okay, replace RCDLR.
