Programming Arming & Disarming Modes (Grand PRIX)

  1. Pull fuse No. 27 (10-Amp) from instrument panel fuse block. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Turn ignition switch to ACCESSORY position. Ensure seat belt indicator light flashes and chime sounds 2-4 times. Using key, turn door-lock cylinder switch to UNLOCK position.
  2. Depress ALARM button on remote keyless entry transmitter to set arming and disarming modes. Each time ALARM button is pressed on transmitter, mode number will advance one. Seat belt indicator and chime will sound number of times equal to current customizing mode number. See ARMING & DISARMING MODES under PROGRAMMING MODE LIST (GRAND PRIX) .
  3. A transition past Mode 3 will start again at Mode 1. To exit and save current customizing, remove key from door-lock cylinder switch, turn ignition off and replace fuse No. 27 (10-Amp).
