Seat Does Not Perform All Personalized Memory Functions

  1. If diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If diagnostic system check was not performed, go to DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
  2. Press DRIVER 1 switch. Press DRIVER 2 switch. Press EXIT switch. If seat moves to proper position for each switch, go to next step. If seat does not move to proper position for each switch, go to step 4).
  3. Press UNLOCK button on remote keyless entry transmitter. If seat moves to proper position for that transmitter, perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  . If seat does not move to proper position for that transmitter, locate and repair problem in remote keyless entry system. See KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM - REMOTE article.
  4. If seat operates properly using manual switches, go to next step. If seat does not operate properly using manual switches, go to appropriate FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE test.
  5. Replace MSM. See MEMORY SEAT MODULE (MSM) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
