The transmitter is a hand-held device that is powered by a 3 volt lithium battery. The date is transmitted on a RF carrier frequency at 315 MHz. The 4 transmitter buttons control the following functions, Lock (upper left), Unlock (upper right), Rear compartment (lower right), alarm (lower left).
