Data Link Connector System Check

Connect scan tool to DLC. Attempt to establish communications with components along the class 2 serial data line (SBM, PCM, EBTCM, etc...). Scan tool should communicate with components along class 2 line. If scan tool communicates with components along class 2 serial data line, continue with diagnostics for particular system. If scan tool does not communicate with components along class 2 serial data line, go to SCAN TOOL DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH CLASS 2 SERIAL DATA LINE  .
