Remote Keyless Entry System: Description
The keyless entry system allows the driver to use a hand held radio transmitter in order to preform the following functions outside of the vehicle, unlock doors, lock the doors, release the rear compartment lid and activate the remote alarm.
The remote keyless entry system performs several functions including locking the vehicle doors, unlocking the vehicle doors and opening the rear compartment lid. The keyless entry system is equipped with an alarm feature that performs several functions including, sounding the horn, illuminating the interior lights, and flashing the headlights. The keyless entry system operates on a radio frequency, subject to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules. The keyless entry operating system complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. The operation is subject to the following conditions, the device may not course harmful interference, the device must accept any interference that may course undesired operation.
