Removal & Installation

  1. Record personalization settings to transfer to new module (if available). Push in and up on front of rear seat cushion to remove. Remove rear seat belt buckle anchor bolts.
  2. Remove trunk upper trim. Remove fasteners and cable clips from trunk pass-through release cable. Lift center shoulder belt off of rear seat back and store on rear deck.
  3. Insert a flat screwdriver between rear seat back and rear deck. Push down on screwdriver to release 4 rear seat back fasteners.
  4. Position rear shoulder belts to clear seat back. Pull seat back forward enough to pull pass-through cable through opening. Remove rear seat back.
  5. Move rear seat back insulator aside. Remove Rear Integration Module (RIM) push-pin retainers. Disconnect RIM harness connectors. Remove RIM.
  6. To install, reverse removal procedure. Reprogram RIM. See REAR INTEGRATION MODULE  under PROGRAMMING.
