Dash Integration Module: Notes

Dash Integration Module (DIM) functions include the following:

• Power mode control (ignition switch states) over class 2 serial data circuit.
• Control of exterior lights.
• Interior lamps incandescent dimming.
• Steering wheel controls.
• Horn relay control for theft deterrent system.
• Lamps on signal with wiper/washer.
• Storage of clock settings and sending messages out on class 2 serial data circuit in response to requests from other modules.
