Security Feedback

Security feedback feature provides feedback to driver when vehicle receives a command from transmitter. Feedback is only provided if all doors are closed, ignition switch is in OFF position and Retained Accessory Power (RAP) is inactive. One of the following modes may be selected for each transmitter:

• Mode 1  : No feedback when locking or unlocking vehicle.
• Mode 2  : Parking lights, reverse lights and Daytime Running Lights (DRL) will flash twice when unlocking vehicle and flash once when locking vehicle.
• Mode 3  : Horn chirps and all doors are unlocked (second time button is pressed) and when locking vehicle.
• Mode 4  : Parking lights, reverse lights and DRL will flash twice each time button with unlock symbol is pressed. Horn chirps when all doors are unlocked. Parking lights and DRL flash once and horn chirps when locking vehicle.

Feedback will be provided according to mode that has been selected. Exterior lights will not flash if manual parking lights are on. For information on programming security feedback, see PROGRAMMING SECURITY FEEDBACK  under PROGRAMMING.
