Test B: Lock-Out Function Inoperative
NOTE:
Be sure passenger window lock-out option is selected as ON in vehicle owner customizing menu. If window lock-out selection is OFF, set to ON and verify fault is still present.
- Connect scan tool. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Observe lock-out switch parameter in Driver Door Module (DDM) data display. Activate switch to ON and OFF position. If scan data changes to ON and OFF with switch, go to next step. If scan data does not change, replace Driver Door Switch Assembly (DDSA)
- Observe lock-out indicator while operating switch. If indicator cycles with switch, replace DDM. If indicator does not cycle with switch, replace DDSA.
