Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor

  2. Disconnect the body harness electrical connector (1) from the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor.

  3. Remove the accelerator pedal nuts.
  4. Remove the accelerator pedal.
