Circuit/System Verification
- If DTCs P0641 or P0651 are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle for further diagnosis.
- Ignition ON, observe that the MAP sensor parameter is correct for your altitude. Refer to Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure
.
- If the MAP sensor parameter is not correct, refer to DTC P0106 .
- Ignition ON, observe that the AIR Pressure Sensor parameter is nearly identical to the MAP sensor parameter.
- Engine running, enable the AIR pump relay with a scan tool and observe that the AIR Pressure Sensor parameter equals approximately 10-20 kPa above BARO.
- Engine running, enable the AIR System with a scan tool and observe that the AIR Pressure Sensor parameter equals approximately 8-15 kPa above BARO.
