Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (V6) .
  3. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector (4).

  4. Remove the CKP sensor stud.
  5. Remove the CKP sensor.
