Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

    NOTE:

    DO NOT apply thread sealant to the sensor threads. The sensor threads are coated at the factory. Applying additional sealant affects the sensors ability to detect detonation.

  1. Install and tighten the knock sensor (2) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
    2. Fig 2: Identifying Electrical Connector

  2. Connect the knock sensor electrical connector (2).
