Circuit/System Verification

Verify no DTCs are present.
- If any DTCs are present
  Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- If no DTCs are present
Verify the map database SD card is fully inserted into the SD card reader slot.
Ignition ON, radio ON, select navigation using the radio controls.
Verify the system switches to navigation and map data is available.
- If the navigation system is unable to access the map data
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing .
- If the navigation system accesses the map data
Verify the No GPS symbol/message is not displayed with the vehicle moved to a location with an unobstructed view of the southern sky.
- If the No GPS symbol/message is displayed
  Refer to No Global Positioning System (GPS) Reception .
- If the No GPS symbol/message is not displayed
All OK.
