Power Mirror Replacement

NOTE:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Take care not to scratch the door and related parts.
  1. Pull the door mirror cover (A) back by hand to release the hooks (B) and detach the clip, then remove the cover.

  2. Remove the front door panel (see FRONT DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. Disconnect the connector (A), and detach the harness clip (B).

  4. While holding the mirror (A), remove the nuts.

  5. While holding the mirror, out through the hole in the door. Take care not to scratch the door.
  6. Install the mirror in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
    • If the clip is damaged or stress-whitened, replace it with a new one.
    • Push the clip and hook into place securely.
