The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
CONDITION/CONCERN
A customer may inquire about the availability of a map database update for the listed vehicles.
RECOMMENDATION/INSTRUCTIONS
Engineering is working on the map update and has a tentative release date around the 4th quarter of 2016 to the first quarter of 2017.
CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Please communicate to the customer that we apologize for this inconvenience and that General Motors is working on an update. Once an update is available, this PI will be updated with additional details - allowing dealership personnel to contact the customer and advise that new mapping software is available.
