Preliminary Procedures

Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
Remove the instrument panel outer air outlet duct. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct Replacement .

Instrument Panel Inflatable Restraint Module Assembly

Procedure

Release tabs on the instrument panel upper trim to allow hook retaining feature on Airbag to pass through.
Refer to Inflatable Restraint Module Handling and Scrapping .
Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
