CAUTION: To avoid damage to the fuel injector, do not rock the fuel injector back and forth during removal. Always remove the fuel injector by twisting and pulling from the fuel rail. Failure to remove the fuel injector properly will damage the fuel injector. Preliminary Procedures Remove the fuel injection fuel rail assembly. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement .
