Assemble Procedure

    Fig 1: Air Cleaner Upper Housing

  1. Install the air cleaner outlet baffle (2) to the air cleaner upper housing (1).
    2. Fig 2: Air Cleaner Element

  2. Install the air cleaner element (3).
  3. Install the air cleaner upper housing (2) to the air cleaner lower housing (4).
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the 5 air cleaner housing bolts (1) and tighten to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  5. Install the air cleaner insulator (5).
  6. Install the 2 air cleaner housing insulator (4).
  7. Install the mass air flow sensor (2) to the air cleaner housing (1).
  8. Install the 2 mass air flow sensor bolts (3) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
