Installation Procedure

  1. Clean the oil pump flow control valve sealing surface at the engine block.
    2. Fig 1: Oil Pump Flow Control Valve

  2. Install a NEW oil pump flow control valve seal (1).
  3. Install the oil pump flow control valve (2).
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the 3 oil pump flow control valve bolts (3) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  5. Connect the oil pump flow control valve wiring harness plug.
  6. Install the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement .
  7. Check and correct engine oil. Refer to Engine Mechanical Specifications .
