Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the charge air cooler outlet air hose. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the throttle body wiring harness plug.
    3. Fig 1: Charge Air Bypass Valve Hose

  3. Remove the charge air bypass valve hose clamp (2).
  4. Remove the charge air bypass valve hose (1).
    5. NOTE:

    Notice the different bolt length.

  5. Remove the 4 throttle body adapter bolts (4).
  6. Remove the throttle body adapter (3).
  7. Remove and DISCARD the throttle body seal (5).
  8. Remove the throttle body (6).
  9. Remove and DISCARD the throttle body seal (7).
