Component Testing

Lane Departure Switch

Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S48E Multifunction Switch - Center Console.
Test for infinite resistance between the signal terminal 7 and the ground terminal 9 with the switch in the open position.
- If less than infinite resistance
  Replace the S48E Multifunction Switch - Center Console.
- If infinite resistance
Test for 3.9k - 5.8k Ω between the signal terminal 3 and the ground terminal 9 with the switch in the closed position.
- If not between 3.9k - 5.8k Ω
  Replace the S48E Multifunction Switch - Center Console.
- If between 3.9k - 5.8k Ω
All OK
