Installation Procedure

- Install a NEW fuel sender O-ring gasket (2) to the fuel sender (1).

- Lower the fuel sender into the fuel tank while connecting the auxiliary fuel feed pipe (1) to the fuel sender. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

- Install the fuel sender lock ring (1) to the fuel tank.
- Install the CH-48482
Fuel Sender Lock Ring Wrench to the fuel sender lock ring (1).
- Using the CH-48482
Fuel Sender Lock Ring Wrench and a long breaker-bar, rotate the fuel sender lock ring (1) in a clockwise direction in order to lock the lock ring.

- Connect the fuel tank vent pipe (2) to the fuel sender. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Connect the fuel tank wiring harness (1) to the fuel sender.
- Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
