Removal Procedure

CAUTION:

Remove the electronic brake and traction control module with brake pressure modulator valve assembly. Refer to Electronic Brake and Traction Control Module with Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement .

Remove the electronic brake control module (EBCM) bolts (1),

Carefully separate the EBCM (1) from the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV).

NOTE:

Do not pry the components apart.

Clean the sealing surfaces of the EBCM and the brake pressure modulator valve with denatured alcohol and allow to dry.
