Component Testing

Forward Collision Alert Switch

Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S70L Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Left.
Test for 7.0k-10.5k Ω between the reference voltage terminal 1 and the signal circuit terminal 2.
- If not between 7.0k-10.5k Ω
  Replace the S70L Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Left.
- If between 7.0k-10.5k Ω
Test for 2.1k-3.1k Ω between the reference voltage terminal 1 and the signal circuit terminal 2 while pressing the switch.
- If not between 2.1k-3.1k Ω
  Replace the S70L Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Left.
- If between 2.1k-3.1k Ω
All OK.
