Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9) 
    2. Fig 1: Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block, Cover And Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut

  2. Remove Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Cover (2)
  3. Loosen Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1)
  4. Reposition away Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (3)

  5. Remove Battery Hold Down Retainer Bolt (2)
  6. Remove Battery Hold Down Retainer (1)
