Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: Front Suspension Measurement

  1. Record the front suspension measurement (p) at curb weight.

    Measurement (p) is the distance from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the front fender.

  2. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

  4. Remove Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1)
  5. Remove Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Bolt (2)

  7. {If equipped} Remove Front Suspension Support Vibration Dampener (2). Refer to Front Suspension Support Vibration Dampener Replacement

  9. Remove Front Lower Control Arm Front Nut (2)
  10. Remove Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt (1)

    DISCARD the bolt.

  12. Remove Front Lower Control Arm Rear Nut (1)
  13. Remove Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt (2)

    DISCARD the bolt.

  14. Remove the front lower control arm (3).
