Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9) Remove Starter Motor. Refer to Starter Replacement (LE2-FWD)Starter Replacement (LE2-AWD)
1	Knock Sensor Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
2	Knock Sensor Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector.
