Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Generator

  1. Install the generator.(4)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install Generator Mounting Stud (3) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  3. Install Generator Bolt (1) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  4. Install Generator Nut (2) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  6. Install Battery Positive Cable (2)
  7. Install Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  8. Connect Electrical Connector (4)

  11. Install Fuel Feed Pipe (1)Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (Engine LCV)

  14. Lower the vehicle.

  15. Install Air Cleaner Assembly (1)Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LCV)
  16. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
