Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Generator

  1. Install the generator. 2
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Generator Bolt 1 - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
    3. Fig 2: Cap, Nut, Cable And Connector

  3. Battery Positive Cable 4 - Install
  4. Generator Nut 1 - Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  5. Protective Cap 2 - Install
  6. Electrical Connector 3 - Connect

  7. Engine Harness 5 - Install
  8. Harness Conduit Retainer Bolt 2 - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  9. Harness Conduit Retainer Nut 1 - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  10. Tie Straps 4 - Install
  11. Connector Retainer 3 - Engage

  16. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
