WARNING: The noise cancelling foam component MUST be replaced if it has been exposed to engine fluids. Failure to replace the noise cancelling foam component that has been exposed to engine fluids may result in an engine fire resulting in catastrophic engine damage, and possible injury or death. Remove the fuel injector noise shield from the fuel injector rail. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield Replacement . Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief . Remove the fuel pump intermediate pipe. Refer to Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Replacement . Remove the fuel injection fuel rail fuel pressure sensor. Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement .
1	Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Fasteners (Qty:4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
2	Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Procedure When reinstalling the existing fuel injectors, it's important to replace the fuel injector seals. Refer to Fuel Injector Replacement .

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .

WARNING:

Remove the fuel injector noise shield from the fuel injector rail. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield Replacement .
Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
Remove the fuel pump intermediate pipe. Refer to Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Replacement .
Remove the fuel injection fuel rail fuel pressure sensor. Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement .

Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Fasteners (Qty:4)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
25 N.m (18 lb ft)
