Assembly Procedure

- Prior to reassembling the strut assembly components, apply a small amount of lubricant to the strut rod and the inside of the jounce bumper. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Position all of the strut assembly components loosely on the CH-45400 compressor.
- Tighten the forcing screw (1) until the front spring (2) is sufficiently compressed.
- Use a suitable tool to hold the strut rod and use the CH-42991 socket to install the front suspension strut nut.
- Tighten the front suspension strut rod nut to 85 N.m (63 lb ft).
- Remove the strut assembly (2) from the CH-45400 compressor (1).
