Installation Procedure

  1. GM4598870

    Fuel Pump Power Control Module (2) - Install

  2. Connect the electrical connector. (1)
  3. GM4589385

    Fuel Pump Power Control Module (1)@Bracket (2) - Install - Rotate counterclockwise

  4. GM4589383
    CAUTION:

    Refer to: Fastener Caution

    Fuel Pump Power Control Module Bolt (2) - Install and tighten9N.m (80 lb in)

  5. Fuel Pump Power Control Module Nut (1) - Install and tighten9N.m (80 lb in)
  6. GM4598869

    Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Install

  7. GM4589384

    Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Install

  8. GM4589382

    Electrical Connector (3)@Clip (1) - Install

  9. Connect the electrical connector. (2)
  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Connect the battery negative cable - Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION AND CONNECTION (2.0L LTG)
