Removal Procedure

Turn on the radio and record all of the customer radio station presets.
Ensure that all lamps and accessories are turned off.
Turn the ignition OFF and remove the ignition key.

Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)

Use an open ended wrench to hold the battery sensor ground tab, while loosening the battery negative cable nut.
Battery Negative Cable Nut (3) - Remove
Battery Negative Cable (2) - Remove

Battery Negative Post Clamp Nut (1) - Loosen
Battery Monitor Module (2) - Remove
