Installation Procedure

    Install the generator. (2)

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Generator Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2X] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Battery Positive Cable (4) - Install

  4. Generator Nut (1) - Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  5. Protective Cap (2) - Install
  6. Electrical Connector (3) - Connect

    Engine Harness (5) - Install

  8. Harness Conduit Retainer Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  9. Harness Conduit Retainer Nut (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  10. Tie Straps (4) - Install [3x]
  11. Connector Retainer (3) - Engage

    Air Conditioning Compressor Hose (1) - Install - Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement (LGX)Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement (LHN)

    Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (1) - Install - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement

    Oil Level Indicator Tube (1) - Install - Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement

    Drive Belt Idler Pulley (2) - Install - Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement

  16. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9) .
