Removal Procedure

  1. Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Hatchback) , or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Wagon) - Loosen and lower the headlining trim panel.

    Remove the liftgate power assist actuator cable retainer (2).

  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors. (1)

    Remove the liftgate power assist actuator retainer (1).

  5. Liftgate Power Assist Actuator (2) - Remove
  6. Unlock the retaining tabs.
