Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

    Intake Manifold (1) - Remove - Intake Manifold Replacement

    Accessory Drive Primary Belt - Remove - Accessory Drive Primary Belt Replacement

    NOTE:

    Do not need to remove the tensioner completely.

    Drive Belt Tensioner Bolt (1) - Remove

  5. Reposition the drive belt tensioner (2) to remove the generator bolt.

    Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect

    Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) @Generator - Remove

  8. Battery Positive Cable (2) - Remove

    Generator Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  10. Generator (2) - Remove
