Wheel Sensor

  1. On rear sensors, disconnect sensor connector in trunk area. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and tire assembly. Remove sensor retaining screws. Remove sensor.
  2. On front sensors, disconnect sensor connector located near shock tower. Remove sensor retaining screw. Remove sensor. To install front or rear sensor, reverse removal procedure.
  3. Adjust sensor air gap to specification. See WHEEL SENSOR AIR GAP table in this article. Ensure sensor wiring is routed correctly as to avoid contact with suspension components.
