Switch Test: Corvette
- Remove connector from mirror selector switch. Turn ignition on, operate mirror adjuster control and check voltage at mirror selector switch connector. With control in up position; Yellow, Lt. Green, White and Lt. Blue wires should have battery voltage and Dark Blue wire should have zero volts.
- With control in down position, Dark Blue wire should have battery voltage and all other wires should have zero volts. With control in left position, Dark Green wire should have battery voltage and all other wires should have zero volts.
- With control in right position; Yellow, Lt. Green, White and Lt. Blue wires should have battery voltage. Dark Green wire should have zero volts. If voltages are correct, replace mirror selector switch.
- Check voltage at mirror adjuster control with connector attached. With control in up position, Pink/Black and Black/White wires should have battery voltage and Dark Blue and Black wires should have zero volts.
- With control in down position, Pink/Black and Dark Blue wires should have battery voltage and Black/White and Black wires should have zero volts. With control in left position, Pink/Black and Dark Brown wires should have battery voltage and Black wire should have zero volts.
- With control in right position, Pink/Black and Black/White wires should have battery voltage and Dark Brown and Black wires should have zero volts. If voltages are incorrect, replace mirror adjuster control.
- If voltages are correct, select left or right position at mirror selector switch. Check voltage at connector of selected mirror. With control in up position, Black/White wire should have battery voltage and Yellow wire should have zero volts.
- With control in down position, Yellow wire should have battery voltage and Black/White wire should have zero volts. With control in left position, White wire should have battery voltage and Black/White wire should have zero volts.
- With control in right position, Black/White wire should have battery voltage and White wire should have zero volts. If voltages are incorrect, replace mirror. If voltages are correct, check wiring back to mirror adjuster control and mirror selector switch.
