Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

Fig. 78 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor replacement:

1. Remove air cleaner assembly.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from MAP sensor.
3. Remove two MAP sensor attaching screws and the sensor, Fig. 78.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Torque sensor attaching screws to 3 ft. lbs.
