Change Trans Fluid and Trans Fluid Reset

Transmission Control Circuit:

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION:
The BCM receives a message from the PCM when the transaxle life index is less than 1%. The BCM will then send the "CHANGE TRANS FLUID" message to the CCDIC. After a trans fluid change, the index may be reset by pressing and holding the "OFF" and "REAR DEFOG" buttons simultaneously for at least 4 seconds. The BCM will then send the "TRANS FLUID RESET" message to the CCDIC.

TEST CONDITION(S):
1. Ignition 3 "ON."

FAILURE CONDITION(S):
1. Transaxle fluid index is less than 1%.

ACTION TAKEN:
1. Display "CHANGE TRANS FLUID" message on the CCDIC.
