Powertrain Control Module (Pcm)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Cadillac Seville, 1995 Cadillac Eldorado, and 1995 Cadillac DeVille. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: The Electronic Control Module (ECM) may also be referred to as the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) in some diagnostic charts and figures. The 2 terms may be used interchangeably.

The PCM interprets inputs of vehicle speed sensor, cruise control switches, brake release switches and servo position sensor. In response to these inputs, PCM signals opening and closing of servo vent and vacuum solenoid valves. PCM is located behind right side of instrument panel, at top of kick panel.
