Rear Compartment Lid Release Inoperative Using RKE Transmitter
- If system operation check has been performed, go to next step. If system operation check has not been performed, see SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Depress rear compartment lid release switch located on instrument panel. If rear compartment lid release functions properly, go to next step. If rear compartment lid release does not function properly, see POWER TRUNK & FUEL DOOR RELEASE article.
- Check rear compartment release operation using a second transmitter. If rear compartment lid release functions properly, go to next step. If rear compartment lid release does not function properly, go to step 5).
- Replace faulty keyless entry transmitter. Verify system operation.
- Replace RKE module. Verify system operation.
