Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Perform DOOR CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK  . Go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Clear any DTCs. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Turn ignition to RUN position. If DTC B1656 still exists, go to next step. If DTC B1656 does not exist, system is okay.
  3. Replace LFDM. After repair, go to next step.
  4. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Reconnect or install any connectors or components that were disconnected or removed. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Clear any DTCs. If all DTCs clear, go to DOOR CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK  .
